B.Com (Hons.) is a business-oriented course that develops the student’s business skills and provides in-depth knowledge of the field of commerce. Students pursuing this course will have an advantage if they want to pursue Chartered Accountancy side-by-side.
Academic Qualification for BCom (H)
Candidate must have passed in 10+2 examination / senior school certificate examination of C.B.S.E with an aggregate of 50% marks as minimum marks for admission to B.Com with passed in five subjects (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination recognized as equivalent to that.
Pre-University Examination (Two years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian School / College.
Intermediate Examination of an Indian University / Board or an Examination recognised as equivalent to that (Pass in Five written subjects).
Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (Pass in Five written subjects).Examination of a foreign university/board which is recognised as equivalent to 10+2 CBSE examination/or Indian university.Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ Physically Handicapped will be allowed 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement, irrespective of the fact whether there exists any reservation for any category of such candidates or not.
- Every question shall have four alternative answers, and out of these, only one correct or most appropriate answer should be selected and marked on the OMR answer sheet provided with each paper.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking for every incorrect answer. Candidates have to bring a black ballpoint pen to the Examination Hall for marking their responses by darkening the ovals on OMR answer sheet.Use of pencil is strictly prohibited.
- B.Com (Hons.) Question Paper pattern is English language and comprehension – 25%, Logical Reasoning – 25%, Data Interpretation – 35% and Basic General Awareness – 15% as a Subjects.
